What we are

Durgapur Public School is a Co-Educational Residential / Day-Boarding English-Medium Sr.Sec. School that adheres to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) syllabus.
The C.B.S.E Board has sanctioned its Composite Provisional Affiliation for Secondary School Examination on 1st April 2011. It has been upgraded to Senior School Certificate Examination by the Board w.e.f 1st April 2013 to 31st March 2016 in Science, Commerce & Humanities (awating) streams.

Durgapur Public School (DPS) is located at P.O-Bekidanga, P.S-Itahar, Distt-Uttar Dinajpur, West Bengal - 733143. It is accessible by road (NH34) from Kolkata in the south and Siliguri in the north. The nearest major railway station is at Raiganj but is generally accessible as well from train stations at Malda, Barsoi, Katihar and Dalkhola. Malda is a one-and-a-half-hour drive away while Dalkhola takes about forty-five minutes. The nearest airport is at Bagdogra in Siliguri and is about 3 hours drive along the national highway numbers 31 and 34.
